Terms of Service
By accessing or using MyAircraftAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
MyAircraftAI is a web-based aircraft maintenance tracking tool designed for general aviation owners. It provides maintenance logging, airworthiness tracking, document storage, flight logging, engine trend monitoring, and AI-assisted features. The Service is available as a subscription via monthly or annual plans.
2. Not a Substitute for Official Records
IMPORTANT: MyAircraftAI is a supplemental tracking tool only. It is not a replacement for official FAA-required aircraft maintenance logbooks, airworthiness certificates, or any other regulatory documentation. All maintenance decisions must be verified by a certified A&P mechanic or IA. You are solely responsible for the airworthiness of your aircraft.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
4. Subscription & Billing
- New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with full Pro features.
- After the trial, a paid subscription is required for continued access.
- On the web, payments are processed securely by Stripe. In the iOS and Android apps, subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. We never store your card numbers.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of a charge for refund requests.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
- Upload malicious files, malware, or content that violates third-party rights
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
6. Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you upload to MyAircraftAI. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We will not sell or share your data except as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. AI Features Disclaimer
AI-powered features (document search, maintenance analysis, airworthiness summaries) are provided as informational aids only. AI outputs may contain errors and must always be independently verified. Do not rely solely on AI outputs for maintenance decisions, airworthiness determinations, or regulatory compliance.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYAIRCRAFTAI AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, AIRCRAFT DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, OR DEATH, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyAircraftAI, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, its design, code, and branding are the property of MyAircraftAI. "MyAircraftAI" and the MyAircraftAI logo are our trademarks. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission. Third-party product names mentioned in the Service (e.g., ForeFlight, Garmin) are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for informational purposes only.
11. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from downtime.
12. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for export, after which it will be permanently deleted.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Vigo County, Indiana.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
