Is MyAircraftAI free to use?
Yes — all features are free for everyone through October 30, 2026. After that, the app continues to work with a subscription: Basic at $4.99/month ($55/year) or Pro at $6.99/month ($79/year). You can cancel anytime.
What kinds of aircraft does this support?
All general aviation aircraft — single-engine, twin, turboprop, experimental, and warbirds. We also support boats and ground vehicles (cars, trucks) for owners who track maintenance across multiple assets.
Will my data be safe if I cancel?
Yes. Your data is preserved indefinitely even if you let your subscription lapse. Sign back up later and pick up exactly where you left off — aircraft, logbook entries, ADs, photos, and uploaded manuals all stay intact.
How do I cancel my subscription?
In the iOS or Android app, manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings (device Settings → your name → Subscriptions). On the web, open your Account page and use "Open Billing Portal" to manage your plan or payment method.
Does the app work offline?
Most of the app works offline, including viewing your aircraft data, maintenance schedules, and uploaded documents. Saving changes offline is queued and synced when you're back online.
How do I reset my password?
On the login page, tap "Forgot password?" — enter your email and you'll get a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
Can my mechanic / A&P sign off maintenance in the app?
Yes. The Mechanic Portal lets you invite an A&P or IA to review and digitally sign maintenance entries. They don't need their own paid account.
Does the AI document search use my data to train models?
No. Your uploaded documents are used only to answer your own questions. They are not used to train AI models, shared with third parties, or made available to other users. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
What if the AI gets something wrong?
AI is a tool, not a substitute for your judgment as the pilot in command or your A&P/IA's certification authority. Always verify maintenance entries against original records before signing them off as authoritative. Report any AI errors to [email protected] and we'll get it fixed.
Is my flight history private?
Yes — flight history pulled via ADS-B is only visible to you. We use it to estimate flight hours for maintenance scheduling and engine trends. It is never published, sold, or shared.
I think I found a bug.
Please email [email protected] with a description of what happened, what you expected, and a screenshot if possible. Include your username and what kind of aircraft/asset was involved. Most bug reports get a fix within a few days.

MyAircraftAI is built by Elliot Abel, a working airline pilot and aircraft owner. The app was built out of frustration with existing maintenance tracking tools and a goal to use AI to take the paperwork burden out of aircraft ownership.
